Introduction
By definition, urban is something relating to or concerning with cities, city life, or densely populated areas. Urban landscape photography is usually associated with imagery within contemporary mediums, cities, buildings, streets, subways, and just about anywhere human life exists and lives. It represents and expresses experiences that exist among those areas, and it can sometimes focus more on the patterns or processes of those areas rather than the people.
Urban photography need not be bound by finished buildings or architectural figures, it can also expand to encompass what is to come or what is being brought to life like construction areas and unfinished buildings or facilities.
Today I share with you some of the most amazing urban landscape photographs I could find.
If you have more examples of urban landscape photography yourself, please share them with us in the comments below.

@impotenta “While there is perhaps a province in which the photograph can tell us nothing more than what we see with our own eyes, there is another in which it proves to us how little our eyes permit us to see.”
What incredible pics! Thanks for sharing. I have recently gotten into landscapes after being inspired by Peter Lik http://blog.peterlik.com/
Urban landscape is an area I have not explored.

Hi, I’m very flattered that you consider one of my shots amongst the ‘most amazing urban landscape photography’ you could find but surely as a photographer you must realise that these immages are not yours to ‘share’, have you approached any of the photographers and requested permission to dispolay their work?
hello shando. yes of course i consult people before showcasing their wok.
this post however, along with one other was prepared by a guest author and i had the misfortune of finding out later that the photos were not licensed as creative commons. i took off the other one but to be honest with you i didnt have the heart to take off this one cause my readers really seem to love it.
im really sorry about using your photo without your permission and ill take it right off if you want me to
Thanks for showcasing one of my photos here among these amazing shots. I’m flattered! -jeff (aka JJKDC)
youre most welcome Jeff! thanks to you for inspiring us =)
I came across this brilliant photography I was inspired to write the short poetic prose below. I love the picture of the old arched door. If you enjoy my writing, Google my name, Kathy Paysen, and check out my two daily writing blogs.
WOODEN PAGES
The scent of ancestry stretches across cobblestoned roads. Moss sticks like time to the worn passages coveting the feet of yesterday. Wooden pages torn from history guard the countryside with their blistered faces hinged to archways. Brick by brick, layer by layer, the aged buildings with rusted locks and looming spirits invite visitors to unlock the mysteries hidden behind them. War ravaged monuments with swollen earth foundations rise up and answer their doors for tourists to snap photographs within. Spirit upon spirit gathers and ascends behind the lush green hillside of man’s hours to travel through lit gardens that lead to the village cemetery. Angels and flowers rest at the head of these etched milestones. Granite records of life scatter across the grey field like seeds sown to harvest God’s kingdom. Wooden pages of our ancestor’s history welcome us to knock and enter. The scent of ancestry stretches across cobblestoned roads.
