“ I like fashion photography because of my interest to tell a story, an event that could be continued in the viewer’s imagination, to create something beautiful. I like giving mood to my photographs, as well as having creative control and inventing what I want. It’s something I work constantly for.
Many times my pictures are sweet and innocent, yet I intend that there is an ambiguity or a mystery; a clash between what is imaginary and real, where the result is something new. The subject (the model) has always been very important in my images. Also the use of color is very important in my work, the woman herself, and the use of archetypes (classical objects). “ ~ Cecy Young
