“My name is Emily. My love for photography began when I was 6 years old, when my parents bought me a film camera. Needless to say at a very young age i was mesmerized by the notion of being able to freeze moments in time , and capture life as it was happening. Eventually my mom got tired of having to buy me so many rolls of film that she bought me a digital point and shoot camera. You would’ve thought she had handed me the world, for it seemed like it to me. Whether knowingly or not , she had given me the tool that i needed to express myself with. I feel that i have grown tremendously since then, though i never want to stop learning and challenging myself.”

Great photos. How do you manage to control the focus when you’re taking your own photos?

To answer Maya’s question, I manual focus on the spot where i know I’ll be standing. :]
