"My name is Donny and I live in Austin, Texas. I picked up photography about two years ago, and only began to shoot with a DSLR (actually a Micro Four-Thirds) a year ago. Without a doubt, seeing the world through a lens has opened my eyes. Alfred Steiglitz said: In photography there is a reality so subtle that it becomes more real than reality.
I seek to find that subtlety. To capture images that evoke memory fragments, forgotten to all but the subconscious. To find beauty in the haunted and mysterious. Light in the shadows. But when all is said and done, I really just enjoy the process. I find those moments of absolute peace when shooting. Being able to share my work with all of you is just icing on the cake!" ~ Donny Tidmore
