Ben Heine is a Belgian painter, illustrator, portraitist, caricaturist and photographer. He was born in Abidjan, Ivory Coast and currently lives and works in Brussels. Ben studied graphic arts and sculpture though he’s mainly a self-taught artist, and he also has a degree in journalism as well as 8 years of professional experience as a graphic creator now.

Ben has collaborated with many printed magazines and papers, created book covers and illustrations for renowned authors, and made CD covers and posters. He has exhibited his wonderful creations in Belgium, Great Britain, Turkey, Romania, France, Canada, USA, Germany, Brazil, South Korea, Spain and Palestine. He has participated in different art events, festivals and workshops in Belgium and abroad, and has been featured quite frequently on many international online blogs and references one of which is The D-Photo ;)
