Graham Vasey is a black and white landscape photographer based in County Durham, North East of England.
Since studying photography at Newcastle College, he has gone on to create a reputation as a fine artist, producing work that concentrates on the mood and atmosphere of the wild upland countryside of North Britain and Europe.
Graham is now represented by Gallerina fine art gallery in his home town of Darlington, and his work has been exhibited in Hexham, London and Edinburgh.
Because of the quality and control they give him, Graham uses traditional photographic equipment and hand printing techniques. Working in this way allows him to create his own individual style, and gives his photography its uniqueness.
Graham has published his first book, The Bones of the Sea, a collection of photos taken on an incredible journey around Iceland in 2007 with photographer Bill Schwab, who also wrote the foreword of the book.
These are simply stunning images; moody and dramatic like the north east
