Today I’m presenting you with the Beautiful texture photography of Albert Giralt from spain.

Albert plays with images, he captures them, he wraps them in textures, in veiled shrouds, he submerges them in transparencies, he falls in love, and he stops in front of each one, in order to rediscover that miniscule expression, that certain gesture or that tiniest of alcoves that emits the faintest veil of light.

I can imagine him searching for that emotion, naked and subtle: abandonment, fear, tenderness, the childlike scream… or confidently placing himself in some part of the short journey from sadness to a smile, in any one of his adolescent daydreams, some of them truly moving.

Albert reinvents the nostalgia of the forgotten mannequin, of the old school pencil case, of the rust nailed into the old window. He crudely shows the beautiful decadence of a withered rose or he brings us the echoes of childlike screams from a distant swimming pool.

Instinctive, nostalgic, decadent and evocative, he communicates unfettered emotion, with all the abandon of someone who fears neither color, nor framing, nor does he revere what is correct. Without norms or established parameters. Only emotion. With the typical sensibility and humility innate in those who are gifted.
