Jamie Heiden, a wife and a mother living in rural Wisconsin, and a photo lover for as long as she can remember.
Jamie’s work is beautifully marked by this unique style of muted colors, soft lines, and wondrous textures. Not to mention a profound use of textual phrases to compliment the beauty in all she creates.
By using Polaroid film, adding watercolors on top of photographs, or processing digital images in Photoshop, Jamie tries to represent these slices of time and create an image that shows the magic in this reality yet still represents that exact moment.
Jamie has also published her first book Horizon Line, a small soft cover collection of 23 of her "horizon line" images…pictures that have words on the horizon, wrapped together with a little piece of a story asking the question, "Who am I?
